MTV is Rebooting AEON FLUX as a Live-Action Series

TV Aeon FluxMTV by Joey Paur

I'm sure many of you remember MTV's animated sci-fi series Aeon Flux from the 90s. It ran for three seasons then was eventually adapted into a live-action film in 2005 with Charlize Theron. I enjoyed the animated series; the movie... not so much.

Now MTV is developing a new live-action reboot of the animated series, which was originally created by animator Peter Chung, and Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis will be writing and executive producing it. Walking Dead producer Gale Anne Hurd is also attached as an executive producer. She was a producer on the original film.

The live-action series is set in "a future dystopian state and revolves around a young assassin who teams with a group of biohacking rebels to save humanity as she becomes the hero known as Aeon Flux."

I don't watch a lot of shows on MTV, but as a fan of the original animated series, I am curious to see how this live-action reboot turns out.
