Mulan Is Ready for Battle in New International Poster for Disney's Live Action Remake

We’ve got a new international poster for Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of Mulan that shows the character ready for battle in the reflection of her sword. Mulan will tell the story of a young woman who takes the place of her aging and ailing father in battle, disguised as a man.

Yifei Yiu is taking on the title role, and it looks like this film is going to tell a much more intense story than the animated original. They’ve forgone the musical element, and photos so far have shown an intense and beautiful landscape in which they will go to battle.

Check out the beautiful Japanese poster below, and see Mulan in theaters on March 27, 2020. The cast also includes Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Ron Yuan, Tzi Ma, Rosalind Chao, Cheng Pei-Pei, Nelson Lee, Chum Ehelepola, with Gong Li and Jet Li.

The movie is being directed by Niki Caro (The Zookeeper’s Wife, North Country), and it will be released on March 27th, 2020.
