MY HERO ACADEMIA Is the Latest Anime to Get a Stage Play
I find it fascinating how anime are often turned into stage plays. The latest anime to get this treatment is a relative newcomer called My Hero Academia. My Hero Academia: The Ultra Stage is currently in development to debut in Tokyo and Osaka next spring. Yotai Mutoyoshi is the director tasked with overseeing the play according to CB, and it is said that the story will be based on Kohei Horikoshi’s manga. No further details have been outlined though. I think this actually has great potential for the stage, and I wish I could go see it in Japan. Nevertheless, I will probably just have to wait for Legendary to make the live-action film that was reported on a few months ago. Are you ready to go Plus Ultra?
