Mystery Inc Meet King Arthur in Trailer for SCOOBY-DOO! THE SWORD AND THE SCOOB
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment recently launched a trailer for the next Scooby-Doo animated film. Titled Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob, the animated film is a straight-to-home release that sees Mystery Inc traveling back in time to work with King Arthur. The trailer looks like it can be a lot of fun, although I’m curious how things are going to play out with the whole time travel aspect. I wonder what the explanation will be for it not actually being a supernatural phenomenon.
Take a journey back in time to King Arthur’s court in this legendary saga of wizards, knights, dragons…and Scooby-Doo! An evil sorceress tries to seize power in Camelot, so King Arthur needs the help of our favorite super sleuths to save his throne. But will their valiant efforts only make things royally worse? This new movie serves up laughter on a platter, and Scooby and Shaggy are ready to dig in!
The cast for Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob includes the current line-up of the gang, Grey Griffin as Daphne, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Kate Micucci as Velma, and Frank Welker as Fred and Scooby-Doo, as well as Jason Isaacs as King Arthur Pendragon and Nick Frost as Merlin. Jeremy Adams wrote the film which was directed by Maxwell Atoms, Christina Sotta, and Mel Zwyer. Fans will be able to watch The Sword and the Scoob on DVD and Digital on February 23, 2021.
