MYSTIC FIGHTERS Provides Some Cool New Cards for Some YU-GI-OH! Fans

I grew up playing Yu-Gi-Oh! and I still think it’s a fantastic trading card game. Well, the company was kind enough to send me some of the latest booster packs and I’ve been looking through the latest set, Mystic Fighters. This is an all-foil set, so it’s really cool to have all the cards in a pack be shiny. Mystic Fighters has three main archetypes that it builds up.

First, you have the Mathmechs which are a subset of Cyberse-type monsters. Second, the Dragonmaids will appeal to fans of Dragon-decks. It’s interesting to me how their abilities tend to involve being discarded and then returning to your hand.

Finally, Generaider Bosses are sure to shine with this pack. The cool thing about Generaider Bosses is that they can all be used in a single deck, or each one easily works in a deck on its own with select monster types. For example, Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom is designed to work fantastically with a Zombie deck.

Overall, if you like any of these archetypes, Mystic Forces is a great choice. Also, since it’s an all-foil pack, most fans wouldn’t mind opening a pack or two that have been put in their stocking (*wink*).
