Mystique and Magneto Relationship to Blossom in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Director Bryan Singer and his team are still in this development process of X-Men: Apocalypse, and there's no doubt that things are going to get more interesting. I'm sure you've noticed by now that the three core members of the series have been Xavier, Magneto, and Mystique. According to a report by THR, things are about to get really serious between Magneto and Mystique, which is a relationship that has been toyed with since First Class. The report says,

Apocalypse is being crafted around Lawrence’s Mystique character and Michael Fassbender’s Magneto. A source who has seen the script says Fox will take full advantage of Lawrence and Fassbender’s star power, placing Mystique and Magneto’s romance front and center.

Oh... shit, Xavier isn't going to be happy with that. It's not surprising that they would do this, X-Men has had its fare share of superhero relationship drama in the comics and films already. If they are going to include it in this next film, Mystique and Magneto seem like the obvious choice. As long as they surround that relationship in yet another awesome story, there's nothing to worry about.

The film will center around the mutant villain Apocalypse, who was introduced in the post-credits scene of Days of Future Past. The new film will also be set in the 1980s, and it has also been said that the story will involve Ancient Mutants. Tom Hardy has been rumored for the role of Apocalypse. It has also been reported that Quicksilver will be back for more action. It's even possible that we might just see Channing Tatum as Gambit as well.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27, 2016.
