Natalie Portman Looks Unrecognizable in First Photo From Noah Hawley's PALE BLUE DOT

The first photo has surfaced from Fox Searchlight's upcoming sci-fi drama Pale Blue Dot. The film, which is written and directed by FX's Legion and Fargo writer Noah Hawley, will explore the theory that astronauts lose touch with reality after prolonged periods in space.

The photo features Natalie Portman and as you can see she looks completely unrecognizable! In the film, Portman plays a successful female astronaut named Lucy Cola who, "after coming back home from a mission in space, starts to unravel when confronted by her seemingly perfect American dream life." She ends up having an affair with a fellow astronaut (Jon Hamm), which as you might imagine starts spiraling out of control when he begins sleeping with an astronaut trainee. Dan Stevens will star as Lucy’s husband in the film.

Hawley has done some great TV work and this will be his first time directing a feature film. I have no doubt it will be a great film. The story certainly is fascinating.

What do you think of Portman's new look?
