Nathan Drake Is on the Hunt for Pirate Treasure in Final Trailer for UNCHARTED
Sony Pictures has dropped the final trailer for its upcoming feature film adaptation of Uncharted, and it showcases a lot of the action and adventure scenes from the film as Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) embark on a journey to hunt for a massive pirate treasure that involves airlifting a couple of pirate ships.
All I see when I watch these trailers is Peter Parker; Holland just isn’t Nathan Drake. Regardless, the movie looks like it’ll be a fun flick that audiences will enjoy, and I’m sure that it’ll make a ton of money.
In the film, “Street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor "Sully" Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune amassed by Ferdinand Magellan and lost 500 years ago by the House of Moncada. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world's oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate's long-lost brother...but only if they can learn to work together.
The movie was directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom), and Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote the script. The Uncharted movie hits theaters on February 18th, 2022.
