Nathan Fillion is Set To Star in James Gunn's THE SUICIDE SQUAD
According to Deadline, fan favorite actor Nathan Fillion is set to star in James Gunn’s DC film The Suicide Squad! There’s no information on who the actor will be playing, but he has a long history of working with Gunn. He voiced a character in Guardians of the Galaxy, and was also in Gunn’s 2006 horror comedy Slither. He also played the Holy Avenger in the 2010 film Super.
I guess it makes sense that Gunn would find a role for Fillion to play in The Suicide Squad, and I can’t wait to see who he’s playing! Who would you like to see him play in the film!?
Fillion joins the previously announced cast of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Idris Elba, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher, Flula Borg and Steve Agee will provide the voice of King Shark.
