Nathan Fillion Suits Up Again as FIREFLY's Captain Malcolm Reynolds in AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE
Nathan Fillion is suiting back up as Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the series American Housewife, which is a show I have never seen. Fillion is said to be appearing as himself in the episode, but as you can see in the photo above, his appearance will be a callback to his days on the classic Firefly series, which met an untimely demise.
It's pretty cool to see him back in that costume after all these years and it makes me wish even more that Firefly would return one day. I know it will never happen, so this is probably the closest thing that fans will get to seeing Fillion reprise his role after all these years. We'll just have to sit through a couple of episodes of this silly looking show that I've never heard of before!
I'm not sure how exactly this whole thing plays into the story, so we'll just have to wait and see. Fillion is slated to take part in a two-episode story arc.
