NBC Hosting a 90-Minute Series Finale for THE GOOD PLACE With a Post-Show Special With Seth Meyers

NBC’s fan-favorite series The Good Place is coming to an end with its fourth and final season, which is currently airing. While fans are sad to see it go, the network is sending it off with a bang in a 90-minute series finale, including a post-show special featuring the full cast, hosted by Seth Meyers.

The series stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto, and D’Arcy Carden. Here’s the synopsis for those of you who need a recap, courtesy of Deadline:

The critically hailed series focuses on Eleanor Shellstrop (Bell) who wakes up in the afterlife and confronts her past through a gracious guide, Michael (Danson). However, Eleanor did not live a righteous life, so if this is heaven, she realizes she was sent there by mistake. Dramedy ensues, infused with questions of ethics, as Eleanor and her fellow afterlife residents need a plan, particularly as things take an unexpected twist.

I’m excited to get caught up on this series. My family loves it, and my cousin always asks if I’ve watched it, so I guess I’d better do it. That way I can enjoy the finale with everyone else! Are you a fan of the series? Are you bummed to see it come to a close?
