NBC Renews THE BLACKLIST for a Tenth Season

I’ve enjoyed watching The Blacklist over the years. It’s a fun espionage series, and James Spader is just so great in it! Well, if you’re a fan of the show, you’ll be happy to learn that NBC has renewed it for a tenth season!

Spader revealed news of the renewal during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. That’s was a pretty cool surprise. Obviously, NBC is super happy with the performance of the show and the direction that the story has been going.

I’m happy that we’re getting at least one more season. Spader plays FBI fugitive and super criminal Raymond “Red” Reddington, who helps the bureau track down the most notorious criminals across the globe. He is joined by Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Hisham Tawfiq, Laura Sohn, and Harry Lennix.

The series was created by Jon Bokenkamp, and he’s currently just an executive producer on it now. The Blacklist comes from Davis Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television Studios and Universal Television. Spader serves as executive producer alongside Lukas Reiter, Laura A. Benson, Daniel Cerone, Sean Hennen, Allison Glock-Cooper, and T Cooper. John Eisendrath, John Davis, and John Fox also executive produce for Davis Entertainment.

Do you watch The Blacklist and are you excited that we are getting a tenth season?
