NECA Reveals Its ACE VENTURA: PET DETECTIVE Animated Series Action Figure
In case you don’t remember, Jim Carrey’s 1990s comedy Ace Venture: Pet Detective spawned an animated series that ran for two seasons from 1995 to 1997 on CBS. It also got a third season run on Nickelodeon in 1999.
The series followed the main character who was a goofy private investigator with a predilection for animals of all species. The slapstick comedy featured in this series was ridiculous and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane was actually a writer on the series.
Anyway, NECA has revealed an Ace Ventura action figure that perfectly capture the animated version of this zany character. The figure is 6 inches tall and it comes complete with alligator and a gaggle of animal companions.
