NECA Reveals Its Quint and Brody JAWS Action Figures

NECA has unveiled its action figures for Quint and Brody from Steven Spielberg’s classic 1975 film Jaws. The two characters were awesomely played by Robert Shaw and Roy Scheider, respectively, and NECA a.k.a. National Entertainment Collectibles Association licensed the likenesses of the actors for these figures.

Both figures stand at 8″ tall and have tailored clothes along with several accessories like binoculars, a bloody chum bucket, guns, a machete, beer cans, and the infamous oxygen tank which ended up blowing up the shark at the end of the movie.

The Jaws action figures were unveiled at the 2020 New York Toy Fair and I included some photos below. NECA also teased (via Bloody Disgusting) that “Collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year.”

When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature.

The Brody and Quint Jaws action figures will be released in September 2020.
