NECA Unleashes a Blood-Drenched Pennywise Figure Straight Out of IT: WELCOME TO DERRY
It: Welcome to Derry recently wrapped up its first season, and horror fans are still waiting to see if HBO follows through on that “Chapter One” tease with a second chapter.
While that question hangs in the air, NECA is already giving collectors something nasty to smile about. The company has revealed a brand-new Pennywise figure inspired by the show, and it’s soaked head to toe in pure nightmare fuel.
If you watched the series, you already know the moment this figure is pulling from. Pennywise, played by Bill Skarsgård, is on the verge of slipping back into his 27-year hibernation when the U.S. Air Force helpfully leaves a massive hole in the cosmic cage that’s kept the creature locked away for centuries. Most of his body has already sunk into the muck, but the promise of freedom snaps his eyes wide open.
What follows is Pennywise’s final, vicious run through 1962 Derry, and it leaves him looking especially horrific. The clown’s lower half is drenched in a dark, ruddy stain, the result of a whole lot of blood and guts from his latest victims. That disturbing look is exactly what NECA captured here, and the result is equal parts disgusting and awesome.
The sculpt and paintwork lean hard into that filth. The blood-soaked detailing isn’t subtle, and it isn’t meant to be. It’s the kind of figure that demands attention on a shelf, even if it makes you slightly uncomfortable every time you look at it.
Here’s the official description: “From the twisted world of Stephen King and the HBO series IT: Welcome to Derry, NECA unleashes Ultimate Blood Pennywise! The nightmare-inducing Dancing Clown is back to terrorize Derry—and your shelf—as a fully articulated Ultimate action figure.
“Standing in 7-inch scale, Pennywise features gruesome, blood-soaked deco and interchangeable heads and hands. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap.”
The Ultimate Blood Pennywise figure is priced at $38 and is currently estimated to ship in the second quarter of 2026. If you’re building out a Welcome to Derry display, this one feels less like an option and more like a dare.
