Neill Blomkamp Releases a Visually Stunning CGI Sci-Fi Short PRAETORIA From Oats Studios
District 9, Elysium, and Chappie director Neill Blomkamp has released a new CGI short film from Oats Studios. The sci-fi film is called Praetoria and they say it's a film where they are "testing the water."
This is supposed to be a "huge galactic story" that follows a troubled character named General Krisch who is wearing some kind of crazy looking futuristic armor and wielding a badass sword. Apparently, he's on an intergalactic mission to get a hold of as much gold as he possibly can, no matter the cost.
The short is visually stunning and it will be interesting to see if anything happens with the concept beyond this short film. Check it out below and tell us what you think.
