Neill Blomkamp Shares New Piece of Concept Art For His ALIEN Sequel
District 9, Elysium, and Chappie director Neill Blomkamp surprised the internet with a few pieces of concept art for an Alien sequel, and the positive fan response likely played a factor in him actually being hired to direct the movie. Stars Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn are both down to appear in the sequel, which is a good thing considering a lot of Blomkamp's original artwork features the return of Ripley and Hicks.
Now the director has taken to Instagram and revealed a new piece of concept art from his upcoming project (which won't interfere with the separate Prometheus sequel, by the way), and this one also prominently features those two actors from the franchise. The caption says the sequel is "going very well" and he "love[s] this project."
