Neill Blomkamp’s Oats Studios Releases a New Sci-Fi Short Film MIGRANTS

Neill Blomkamp’s Oats Studios has released a visually stunning sci-fi short film set in space titled Migrants. The film was directed by Paul Chadeisson and it’s the first short film presented by Oats Studios in “a new playlist that will become a curated collection of our favorite short films from our favorite artists.”

Here’s the brief synopsis that was shared that offers up some information on the story:

Humanity started the process of terraforming Mars many years ago. We follow the thoughts and prayers of one of the “cleaners” who works on this titanic project.

This is basically a proof of concept short that could easily be turned into something more, something bigger. I’m a big fan of what Blomkamp is doing with Oats Studios and I hope to see some of the projects that are being developed there like this get developed into something more.
