Netflix and The Satanic Temple Have Settled the Lawsuit

A few weeks ago, The Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit against Netflix and Warner Bros. The claim was that The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina infringed on a copyright for the statue of Baphomet. Now the two parties have settled the problem. We don’t know too much, but Stuart de Haan, the attorney for The Satanic Temple, did give the following statement to THR:

“The Satanic Temple is pleased to announce that the lawsuit it recently filed against Warner Bros. and Netflix has been amicably settled. The unique elements of the Satanic Temple’s Baphomet statue will be acknowledged in the credits of episodes which have already been filmed. The remaining terms of the settlement are subject to a confidentiality agreement.”

I’m sure there was a healthy sum of money involved in the confidential part.
