Netflix Announces a New CASTLEVANIA Spinoff Series Is in Development
Here’s some exciting news for all the Castlevania fans out there! Netflix and Powerhouse Animation have announced that there’s a spinoff series that currently in development. It was revealed in a Tweet:
The Castlevania Universe is getting even bigger. An all new series starring Richter Belmont (the son of Sypha and Trevor) and Maria Renard, set in France during the French Revolution, is currently in the works.
The characters of Richter Belmont and Maria Renard appeared in Castlevania Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It’ll be interesting to see how the creative team plays with these characters in the series.
They’ve already done such an incredible job with the Castlevania series. I’m still in the middle of watching the finale season, which has been so freakin’ good! I’m actually surprised by how great this animated series ended up being. I just wasn’t expecting what it delivered.
