Netflix Announces THE WITCHER: NIGHTMARE OF THE WOLF Animated Film
Netflix has announced a new project for The Witcher. It’s an animated film titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. We don’t have a lot of details to share with you at the moment, but Lauren S. Hissrich, showrunner of the live-action series, is attached to it.
A brief logline for the film has also been released, and it reads, "The world of The Witcher expands in this anime film that explores a powerful new threat facing the Continent.”
Netflix also announced that Beau DeMayo, who wrote an episode of the live-action series, is also on board to work on the project. As for which animation studio is developing the film, it will be done by Studio Mir, who is best known for animating Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender for Netflix.
We don’t have any other info to share, but I’ll be looking forward to learning more. I’m curious to know if Henry Cavill and the rest of the cast of the series will reprise their roles in the film.
