Jaime King Cast in Netflix's New Zombie Series BLACK SUMMER

If you’re wanting a new zombie apocalypse show, you may want to consider Black Summer. Black Summer was recently ordered by Netflix and it will star Jaime King from Hart of Dixie. The series will start with 8 episodes and I imagine it will get more if it does well. Karl Schaefer and John Hyams created the series, and both will serve as executive producers. Here’s a brief synopsis:

“Black Summer stars King as a mother, torn from her daughter, who embarks upon a harrowing journey, stopping at nothing to find her. Thrust alongside a small group of American refugees, she must brave a hostile new world and make brutal decisions during the most deadly summer of a zombie apocalypse.”
