Netflix Is Developing a New Season of BLACK MIRROR and Here's What We Know
Netflix is jumping back into the twisted world of Black Mirror with a new series they are developing. It’s been three years since Black Mirror Season 5 was released, and they are ready to add on to the anthology series with some more wonderfully strange dystopian stories.
It’s said that Black Mirror Season 6 will have more episodes than Season 5, which consisted of only three installments. The new season will also be “more cinematic in scope, with each installment being treated as an individual film.” This is in line with what we’ve already seen in the franchise, as the episodes usually exceeded 60 minutes and had incredibly high production values.
There are no details to share regarding any of the stories that will be told, but casting on the series is currently underway. The creative team tends to land pretty big names for this series and it’ll be cool to see who they end up landing in Season 6. But I’m mostly curious about the stories that will be told.
I’ve enjoyed the stories that have been told in this anthology series over the years, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing what this next one has to offer!
