Netflix is Producing a Fantasy Werewolf Horror Series Called THE ORDER

Netflix is set to produce a 10-episode horror series that revolves around the supernatural world of werewolves called The Order. The series comes from the Canadian production company Nomadic Pictures who have developed series such as Hell on Wheels and Van Helsing

The series was created by Dennis Heaton (Motive) and Shelley Eriksen (co-creator of Private Eyes), who will also write it. The series is described as "a magical and terrifying journey to uncover our true selves — and the monsters that hide within." As for the story:

The Order centers on college freshman Jack Morton (Jake Manley), who joins a fabled secret society, The Order, where he is thrust into a world of magic, monsters and intrigue. As Jack goes deeper, he uncovers dark family secrets and an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts.

The series also co-stars Sarah Grey (Stargirl on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), who plays the female lead, Alyssa, "a pretty and smart overachiever with a double major in poli-sci who is a member of The Order and is attracted to Jack."

The show also stars Matt Frewer (Altered Carbon, Orphan Black), True Blood alum Sam Trammell and Max Martini (Training Day, Revenge).

This could end up being an awesome series and I can't wait to see how it turns out!
