Netflix is Reportedly Delaying The Release of Marvel's THE PUNISHER
Sometimes horrible tragedies shake things up in the entertainment world. In an effort to be sympathetic to victims and others affected by horrible events studios try have been known to delay films, episodes, etc.
Such is the case as it seems with Netflix's highly anticipated series The Punisher. Netflix has already pulled The Punisher out of New York Comic Con because of the horrible mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Now Verne Gay of Newsday says Marvel and Netflix are delaying the show's launch, in addition to the recent removal of the show from New York Comic Con. The report says it is aiming for a release sometime in the late fall and is in direct response to the Las Vegas shooting.
Have heard: Netflix will delay mid-Oct. launch of #ThePunisher (which also dropped out of #NYCC) until late fall, citing Las Vegas massacre.

It's quite understandable why Marvel and Netflix have decided to do this, as Frank Castle is particularly violent and of a much darker character than the rest of the Marvel Netflix series.
Neither Netflix or Marvel have officially announced that the series is being delayed, but they probably don't need to since they never really revealed an official release date anyway.
The Punisher will hit Netflix later this year, eventually.
