Netflix is Testing New Instant Replay Feature

MovieTV Netflix by Tommy Williams

Now that streaming services are so popular, they’re continually working to see what new innovations they can implement to justify you subscribing to theirs instead of realizing that you don’t need 30 streaming service subscriptions.

Netflix’s latest idea is an instant replay button. This will allow users to pause their show and rewind the scene in one swift move instead of scrubbing back. While this is not at the forefront of everyone’s minds in terms of improvements we’d like to see, it’s clear Netflix is trying to increase the convenience factor.

It’s important to note that this feature is still in testing and may not actually become a part of Netflix. Netflix told the LA Times:

We’re trying out a feature which gives Netflix members the ability to rewatch favorite scenes and memorable moments with the click of a button. Right now we’re just looking to learn from it and may or may not roll it out more broadly in the future.

Is this a feature that you’ve been wanting? Are you interested in this? What’s a feature you want streaming services to incorporate?
