Netflix Officially Confirms LUCIFER Will Return For Its Sixth and Final Season
We’ve known for a while that Netflix was planning on producing a sixth season of Lucifer. The big hold up in the process of making that a reality was star Tom Ellis who took a long time renegotiating his contract. After that deal finally closed, Netflix and the creative team could move forward.
Well, Netflix has officially announced that Lucifer Season 6 is coming and that it will be the final season of the series. Here’s the announcement they sent out:
Lucifer is based on the comic book characters created by Neil Gaiman for DC’s Vertigo Imprint, and the series follows the charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar, helping LAPD detective Chloe Decker take down criminals.
The series also stars Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez and Kevin Alejandro.
