Netflix Officially Renews STRANGER THINGS For Season 3!
In the most least surprising news of the of the year, Stranger Things has been renewed for a third season! I know we all knew this was going to happen, but Netflix did officially make the announcement today, so all of you fans can get up and do your happy dance!
There are a couple of things that were not included in the announcement. They don't reveal when Season 3 will be released, and they don't say how many episodes that it will entail. Those things will obviously come as the next season is being developed.
There was a fifteen-month gap between Seasons 1 and 2, so I imagine we can expect to wait around the same amount of time before Season 3 hits.
The Duffer Bros. are planning four to five seasons of Stranger Things and I'm excited to see the story of these wonderful characters continue as they live life in the 80s in the town of Hawkins, Indiana, where they have to deal with horrific creatures from another dimension invading their world.
The series stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, and Sadie Sink as Max.
Bring it on!
