Netflix Orders THAT '90s SHOW, a Spinoff of THAT '70s SHOW
Netflix is producing a spinoff series of That ‘70s Show titled That ‘90s Show, and original series creators Bonnie and Terry Turner are returning to develop it.
As of right now the only members of the original cast who have signed on include Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman and Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman. But producers are trying to get some other familiar faces back to make guest appearances, and they’re hopeful it’ll happen.
Here’s the description that was provided for the new show, “Hello, Wisconsin! It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.”
I enjoyed the That 70s Show, and I’m actually really interested in That ‘90s Show, because I spent my teenage years in the ‘90s and I freakin’ loved it! This should be a big hit for Netflix because the ‘90s are making a comeback. My kids are very into the ‘90s right now, the music, the fashion, and the films. It’s so interesting a cool that they are into the same stuff that I enjoyed when I was a teen. Lots of kids are embracing the ‘90s these days!
What do you all think of this That ‘70s Show spinoff series?
