Netflix Picks Up Untitled Safdie Brothers Movie Starring Adam Sandler

Netflix has picked up the Untitled movie that is being made by Josh Safdie and Benny Safdie, aka The Safdie Brothers, who previously made the movies Good Time and Uncut Gems, the second of which starred Adam Sandler in one of the most critically acclaimed roles of his career. This next pic is reuniting Sandler with the directors, who are writing and producing as well.

Deadline reports that Netflix would not confirm plot details, though several sources say it is likely set in the world of high-end card collecting. The report also says that sources say the hope is to shoot the project in the second quarter of 2023, which would likely make it Sandler’s next project. One insider close to the project said that start date is TBD as the siblings are still putting finishing touches on the script.

Uncut Gems was hard to watch, but it was a really crazy and interesting story that kept me captivated until the end. I’m down to go on another wild ride with Sandler and the Safdies at the helm. What about you?
