Netflix Releases First Haunting Trailer For Their Film Adaptation of Stephen King's 1922 with Thomas Jane

Netflix produced a film adaptation of Stephen King's novella 1922 and today they've released the first trailer. The movie stars Thomas Jane (The Punisher, The Mist) and it looks like a freakin' great and creepy movie! I don't know why, but I was surprised by this trailer and how good the movie looks. I'm super excited about seeing this! If you're not familiar with the story, here's the synopsis:

1922 is based on Stephen King's 131-page story telling of a man's confession of his wife's murder.  The tale is told from the perspective of Wilfred James, the story's unreliable narrator who admits to killing his wife, Arlette, with his son in Nebraska. But after he buries her body, he finds himself terrorized by rats and, as his life begins to unravel, becomes convinced his wife is haunting him.

The movie was written and directed by Zak Hilditch and it also stars Molly Parker, Dylan Schmid, Kaitlyn Bernard, Brian d’Arcy James and Neal McDonough. There's no release date yet, but I can't wait to watch it!

Life is rarely fair. Based on the novella by Stephen King, comes a new Netflix Film, 1922. Premieres October 20th, only on Netflix.
