Netflix Releases Teaser Trailer Announcing the Fourth and Final Season of Hit Series ATYPICAL
We’ve got an announcement trailer for you to watch today that has me feeling all sorts of emotions. Atypical has been one of my favorite series the past few years, and Netflix has announced that the fourth season will be its last. On one hand, I’m glad it has has been given a fourth season order, and the writers can plan a conclusion the characters and story deserve. On the other hand, I could have watched this series for seasons to come. There was still so much to cover with all of the characters that I had grown to love.
The series is about a young man named Sam who has autism and is trying to figure out his life and future. We have seen him go from high school to college, and navigate friendships, relationships, and family drama. It’s a great series that has so much heart and honesty. I’m for sure sad to see it go. The series stars Keir Gilchrist as Sam, Brigette Lundy-Paine as sister Casey, Jennifer Jason Leigh as mom Elsa, Michael Rapaport as dad Doug, and Nik Dodani as best friend Zahid.
The fourth season won’t premiere until 2021, so we have plenty of time to catch up or rewatch until then. Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you’d like to see happen for Sam and his family in the final season.
