Netflix Releases The Full Trailer For ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK Season 7
Netflix has released the full trailer for the seventh and final season of Orange is the New Black. It looks like its going to deliver a very heavy and emotional ending.
Orange is the New Black is one of Netflix's longest-running and most-awarded series. I’ve enjoyed watching the series over the course of its run, but its time for this story to come to a close. This has been a great show to watch and I’m hoping that it ends on a high note.
The series centers around Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), a public relations executive with a career and a fiance when her past suddenly catches up to her. “In her mid-30s she is sentenced to spend time in a minimum-security women's prison in Connecticut for her association with a drug runner 10 years earlier. Forced to trade power suits for prison orange, Chapman makes her way through the corrections system and adjusts to life behind bars, making friends with the many eccentric, unusual and unexpected people she meets.”
In this final season, “the ladies of Litchfield will have to come to terms with the fact that prison has changed them forever. Piper struggles with life on the outside, while Max, as corrupt and unjust as ever, goes on without her on the inside. Taystee’s friendship with Cindy still hangs in the balance as her life sentence looms, while Gloria and her kitchen staff are confronted by the harsh realities of Polycon’s newest profit stream.”
The series was created by Jenji Kohan and it is based on Piper Kerman's memoir, Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison, which is about the experiences she had while serving time at FCI Danbury, a minimum-security federal prison.
Orange is the New Black Season 7 premieres on July 26th.
