Netflix Renews ATYPICAL For Season 3

Netflix just came out with the news that they are renewing their hit show, Atypical for a third season! This is great news that comes on the heels of the second season that hit Netflix in September.

The first season aired in August 2017, and we had to wait what felt like a very long time before we knew the second season was coming, so this is great news! The promo even says it’s coming soon, so it looks like we won’t have to wait long.

Atypical tells the story of a teenager-turning young adult with autism who is learning how to navigate the world and deal with his family drama.

The cast is stellar, and includes Jennifer Jason-Leigh (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Hateful Eight), Michael Rapaport (Beautiful Girls, Deep Blue Sea), Brigette Lundy-Paine, and Keir Gilchrist as the main character, Sam Gardner.

It’s a great show that captures the intricacies of life with someone on the autism spectrum. As an autism parent, I’m thrilled that more stories like this are being told. Can’t wait for season 3!
