Netflix Renews FULLER HOUSE for Fifth and Final Season
“We’re saving the best for last!”, is what the cast of Fuller House had to say in a video put out by Netflix announcing that the fifth season of of the series, coming this fall, will be its last. It’s kind of perfect when a show that already had a full and successful eight-season run (Full House), gets to come back and have a successful reboot and tell a full story, with notice that the show has run its course, and will get to go out on its own terms. I was the hugest fan ever of the original series, as it ran from when I was three to ten years old, which is kind of a sweet spot for this genre of sitcom. Especially for a kid who didn’t really go outside, and loved TV more than anything else. I only watched the first season of Fuller House, and while it had a sense of nostalgia and fun, it was a little cheesier than even I expected. Not bad, though. I bet I’ll show it to my kids at some point and finish the series eventually. I know lots of people who’ve really enjoyed it.
Here’s the video wrapping up the first few seasons in a nutshell, and making the big announcement:
Are you happy or sad about the series coming to an end? The first four seasons are streaming now on Netflix, and the fifth season will premiere this fall.
