Netflix Reportedly Renews LOCKE & KEY for a Third Season

Locke & Key Season 2 has been back in production for a few weeks already, but it looks like Netflix has already greenlit a third season according to official Writers Guild of America website. Netflix has not made an official announcement yet, but it’s good to learn that Season 3 is at least a strong possibility.

I was happy with how the first season turned out. I enjoyed it, and I’d love to see the series continue to see how the story arcs play out for the characters.

[T]he coming-of-age supernatural drama follows the Locke siblings after their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances. The three siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.

Locke & Key’s first season is currently available on Netflix and stars Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, and many more. Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill are co-showrunners. The show is an adaptation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s coming-of-age supernatural drama graphic novel published by IDW.
