Netflix’s ASSASSIN'S CREED Series Adds Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi to the Cast

Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed continues to build out its ensemble, and the latest additions bring some serious acting power to the project.

The highly anticipated series based on Ubisoft’s legendary video game franchise has officially added Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi in recurring roles.

While details about their characters are being kept secret for now, the casting gives fans plenty to be excited about as the show continues to take shape.

The new cast members join a lineup that already includes Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford. Netflix is keeping plot specifics under wraps, but the show will dive into the core conflict that has driven the franchise since the games first launched.

According to the official logline, the series is a “high-octane thriller centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions — one set on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will.”

The series follows “its characters across pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny.”

The long-running franchise explores the centuries-spanning struggle between the Assassins and the Templars. Using advanced technology that unlocks genetic memories, characters relive the lives of their ancestors across different eras in order to hunt down powerful artifacts known as Pieces of Eden.

It’s a concept that blends historical drama, sci-fi, and action, and it has proven incredibly popular. Since launching in 2007, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has sold more than 230 million copies worldwide and grown into one of the best-selling video game series of all time. With 14 main installments so far, it has taken players everywhere from Renaissance Italy to Viking-era England.

Netflix’s adaptation is being led by Robert Patino (DMZ, Westworld) and David Wiener (Halo, Homecoming), who serve as both executive producers and showrunners.

They are joined by executive producers Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television, along with Matt O’Toole.

With a franchise this massive and a cast that keeps getting stronger, Netflix clearly has big ambitions for Assassin’s Creed.

If the series manages to capture the intrigue, historical scope, and action that fans love from the games, it could end up being one of the streamer’s most exciting video game adaptations yet.
