Neve Campbell Set to Star in CLOUDS, an Adaptation of a Mother's Autobiography

Actress Neve Campbell, best known for her roles in Party of Five, the Scream films, and House of Cards, is taking on a new role in the film Clouds, an autobiographical story based on the memoir by Laura Sobiech entitled Fly a Little Higher: How God Answered a Mom’s Small Prayer in a Big Way. Deadline reports the following description of the story:

The pic follows 17-year-old Zach (Fin Argus), Laura’s son, whose diagnosed a second time with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric bone cancer, but this time it’s terminal. In the months leading up to his death, he finds the courage to date and fall in love with his dream girl, Amy (Madison Iseman) and despite waves of sorrow and guilt knowing he’s leaving his loved ones behind and in pain, he writes a song saying goodbye and to thank all the people who stood by him.

The title of the film is based on the name of the song, “Clouds” by Zach Sobiech. It’s a really great song, available on iTunes, that reached #1 on the iTunes chart the week he passed away. This will be a tearjerker of a movie for sure, but I bet it will be a good one.

Check out the song below, and we’ll let you know when we hear more about the film’s cast and release date.
