Never-Before-Seen Cold Open For THE OFFICE Inspired By THE MATRIX
As you’re probably aware by now, The Office has moved from Netflix to NBC’s Peacock streaming Service. With that move came some never-before-seen content.
Peacock currently offers extended editions of every Season 3 episode of The Office, as well as some deleted scenes from throughout the series that are being revealed for the first time. One of those scenes has been shared online. It’s a cold open inspired by the classic sci-fi action film The Matrix, and it’s pretty damn entertaining.
The scene is from Season 9 of the series and in it, Jim and Pam team up to pull one of their best pranks ever on Dwight. They attempt to convince him that he's in The Matrix. You can watch how it all plays out in the video below.
