New Action-Packed Trailer for HITMAN: AGENT 47
We've got a new action-packed trailer for you to watch for Hitman: Agent 47. I've enjoyed playing the Hitman video games, but unfortunately the feature film adaptations haven't done video game based movies any favors. This new Hitman film looks cool visually, and it's sure to have some fun action, but it doesn't really look that good to me. The film just seems to have a hollow feel to it. Watch the new trailer for yourself and let us know what you think about it.
HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones -- endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
The movie was directed by first time helmer Aleksander Bach, and it stars Rupert Friend (Homeland), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), Hannah Ware (Betrayal), Thomas Kretschmann (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Dan Bakkedahl (The Heat), and Ciaran Hinds (Frozen).
The new trailer offers up some new footage along with some additional story elements. The movie hits theaters on August 21st, will you be checking it out?
