New Adorable Release Date Announcement Trailer For KIRBY AND THE FORGOTTEN LANDS Shows Off New Abilities

Kirby and the Forgotten Lands is being released on March 25 for the Nintendo Switch. To announce the date, Nintendo has released a new trailer for the game and it looks like a great addition to the Kirby game roster.

Join Kirby as he adventures in new lands the help save the Waddle Dees that have been captured by the Beast Pack. Each level lets you navigate 3D environments to reach the captured Waddle Dee at the end. This should be a welcome change of pace for those that like to have lots of areas to explore. Two new abilities featured in the trailer are the Drill and Ranger.

The Drill will allow you to drill for a powerful underground attack while the Ranger will let you attack far away enemies. In co-op mode, player two will take on the role of Bandana Waddle Dee that can use a spear to dispatch enemies. It looks like there are also some various mini games such as fishing and working in a café. As per usual, everything looks adorable.

To celebrate the game and Kirby’s 30 year anniversary, Nintendo has also provided a fun wallpaper for download here. It features Kirby with his various copy abilities and vehicles throughout the years. You’ll be able to pick up your copy of Kirby and the Forgotten Lands for a suggested retail price of $59.99 and is available for preorder from the Nintendo eShop now.
