New AGATHA ALL ALONG Poster Art Inspired by EVIL DEAD, ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, TRUE DETECTIVE and More
Marvel Studios has released four new posters for Agatha All Along and they are inspired by four different horror projects.
The posters reference Evil Dead, Rocky Horror Picture Show, True Detective, and The Babadook. You can check out the posters below! I like that the marketing team is having some fun with this! It makes me wonder, though, if any of these films will play into the story.
Kathryn Hahn’s character, Agatha Harkness, embarks on a journey on the Witches’ Road. In this series, “she sets off on a dangerous, mysterious adventure filled with trials and tribulations.”
Agatha Harkness finds herself “down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell.
“Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing.
“Together, Agatha and this mysterious teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down, The Road…”
Showrunner Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision) directs the pilot episode and the cast includes “a disparate, mixed bag of witches” and those witches include Patti LuPone’s Lilia, Sasheer Zamata’s Jennifer, Debra Jo Rupp’s Sharon, and Ali Ahn’s Alice.
The rest of the cast includes Joe Locke, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili and Aubrey Plaza.
Marvel Television’s Agatha All Along premieres September 18 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET, with the first two episodes, exclusively on Disney+.
