New ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Featurette Introduces Cassie Lang
A new featurette has been released ahead of this week’s premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which introduces the audience to the teenaged version of Cassie Lang, played by Kathryn Newton. Cassie is the daughter of Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), and she wants to be a superhero just like her dad. They’ve always been close, and they are both suffering from the five-year loss that the snap stole from them, but in this movie, they will go up against a threat unfathomable, which is Kang the Conqueror in the Quantum Realm (played by Jonathan Majors).
Here’s the film’s synopsis:
“Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.”
Bill Murray and William Jackson Harper are also a part of the cast, and this epic film promises to shake things up moving forward in the MCU. Check out Cassie Lang’s featurette below, and get ready to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in theaters on February 17th.
