New AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Poster Puts Doctor Doom Front and Center as Tickets Go on Sale

Doctor Doom is ready to break the MCU, and Marvel fans can officially lock in their movie theater seats to watch him do it.

Marvel Studios has released a new poster for Avengers: Doomsday featuring Doctor Doom as tickets officially go on sale for the massive MCU event. The film hits theaters December 18, 2026, and ticket sales have now expanded beyond INFINITY VISION-certified Premium Large Format theaters to cinemas nationwide.

Fans looking to buy opening-weekend seats can grab tickets through Fandango or wherever movie tickets are sold.

After watching the trailer and the exclusive Comic-Con footage, it’s hard not to be excited about this movie! There are a lot of moving pieces here, and I’m looking forward to see how exactly this story is going to play out.

Marvel is bringing together characters from wildly different corners of its cinematic history, and Doctor Doom is right at the center of the chaos, and he looks unbeatable.

The story will throw beloved heroes from three distinct universes onto a deadly collision course as they confront an existential threat unlike anything they’ve faced before. That opens the door for some seriously crazy character combinations, confrontations, reunions, and probably more than a few surprises Marvel is keeping locked away until December.

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are directing Avengers: Doomsday, reuniting with Marvel for another enormous Avengers adventure. The film is produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz.

And then there’s the absolutely massive cast. Robert Downey Jr. leads the charge as Doctor Doom, joined by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Hayley Atwell, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena, and Tenoch Huerta Mejia.

We’ve got Avengers, Fantastic Four characters, X-Men veterans, and heroes pulled from different eras and universes all heading toward the same conflict.

There are still plenty of questions surrounding how Doom fits into this multiversal collision, and that mystery is a big part of why I’m looking forward to seeing it unfold.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released exclusively in theaters on December 18, 2026.
