New AVENGERS: ENDGAME Set Photos Show Captain Marvel Fighting on Vormir

Some new photos from the set of Avengers: Endgame have surfaced and fans seem to be freaking out because it features Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) battling on the planet Vormir. In case you need a reminder, Vormir is the planet where Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) went to retrieve the Soul Stone.

While it doesn’t really matter at this point, I’m still curious to know what the initial plan for Captain Marvel being on Vormir was. Did she go with Hawkeye and Black Widow? Did she go alone for some reason?

One thing I noticed is that Carol Danvers has long hair in the image, which means the scene would have taken place at some point before she got her haircut 5 years after The Snap, before she showed up to help battle Thanos and his army.

What are your thoughts and theories as to why Captain Marvel was on Vormir?
