New AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Poster Shows a Very Happy Thanos and his Black Order
This right here, is the face of a man who is very pleased about his glove. Look at his face. It's like he got exactly what he wanted for Christmas. Or Thanosmas. Deathmas? I'm not one hundred percent what space holiday Thanos celebrates, but it's obvious, he is celebrating.
Marvel just released a new Comic-Con poster quite different than many we've seen in the past. We're used to a poster with a bunch of heroes striking poses, usually with at least one girl facing her butt towards the front, with a bunch of destruction around them, but this focuses on just the villains. Like a team of villains all united in on purpose.
The poster focuses mostly on Thanos but has the guard in battle position down at the bottom. I also love the broken Avengers symbol near the guard and what appears to be the Rainbow Bridge zapping down to earth. The only thing that I really am curious about is the green swirly stuff. Who knows what that is.
Thanos looks awesome here. Without his crown/helmet, he looks like a legitimate personable threat. I think an issue I've had before when seeing images of him in the helmet and heavy metal armor looks like a cartoon villain that is slow moving and easy to take out, where as this image looks like a soldier who has has killed with his bare hands and will kill more. Seriously, The way he's looking at his hand right now is how I look at my hand on a Friday night with no date. And something tells me if I had that glove on... it would be glorious.
I really love the focus on the villains, and hope the movie will focus on them as well. Look at the full image at the bottom.
