New Japanese BATMAN NINJA Trailer and New Characters Revealed
If you’re excited for Batman Ninja, raise your hand! I am really excited for this anime movie. The art looks incredible and while the voices are not Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy, they sound great. The Japanese site for the film is now up and running and with it came a new 30-second trailer. This trailer gives us two pieces of information. First, it revealed the bulk of the Japanese casting and some new characters that we previously didn't know about:
Takehito Koyasu as Gorilla Grodd
Atsuko Tanaka as Poison Ivy
Junichi Suwabe as Deathstroke
Chō as Penguin
Toshiyuki Morikawa as Two-Face
Kenta Miyake as Bane
Yuuki Kaji as Robin
Kengo Kawanishi as Red Robin
Daisuke Ono as Nightwing
Akira Ishida as Red Hood
Houchu Ohtsuka as Alfred
Second, the trailer tells us that it will be released to theaters on June 15. Sadly, at present only Japanese theaters have this release date, but at least you can purchase it here in the US on Blu-ray on May 8, or on Digital on April 24. Maybe we’ll get lucky and later this year it will play in theaters so we can really have an experience.
