New Behind the Scenes Featurette for SCREAM Focuses on the Return of Ghostface
Here’s a new featurette for the upcoming next chapter of Scream, which takes us behind the scenes of the film with interviews of the cast and crew talking about the film and the return of Ghostface. They also discuss the story, the characters, and the surprising, unexpected twists and turns that you won’t see coming.
It looks and sounds like the filmmakers behind the film, Radio Silence, which consists of directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet, are going to deliver a great addition to the franchise and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story ends up playing out.
Neve Campbell has returned to play Sidney Prescot, David Arquette is back as Dewey Riley, and Courteney Cox reprises her role of Gale Weathers. They will be joined by a new younger generation of actors that includes Melissa Barrera (In the Heights), Jenna Ortega (The Fallout), Mason Gooding (Tragedy Girls), Jack Quaid (The Boys), and Dylan Minnette (13 Reasons Why).
In the film, “Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.”
Scream creator Kevin Williamson is also back and producing the film, and the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on January 14, 2022.
