New BIRDS OF PREY Footage Featured in IT-Themed Russian Teaser Trailer
A new teaser trailer for Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has surfaced. As you’ll see the trailer is an IT-themed trailer, which means that this is the trailer that will play in front of IT: Chapter 2 next week.
The teaser is in Russian, but it offers new footage from the film and it shows off the Birds of Prey team kicking some ass. The cast of the film consists of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn; Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary; Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress; Rosie Perez as Detective Renee Montoya; Ella Jay Basco as Batgirl Cassandra Cain; Ewan McGregor as the villainous Black Mask; and Chris Messina as the serial killer, Victor Zsasz.
The movie is said to be an R-rated "girl-gang movie," and in the film Harley Quinn, Huntress, and Black Canary will team up to protect Cain when she comes across a diamond belonging to McGregor’s Black Mask, a kingpin in Gotham City’s criminal underworld.
