New “Bount Bount Chickachicka!" BUMBLEBEE Promo and Clip Featuring Shatter and Dropkick on the Hunt
We’ve got a fun 80s nostalgia fueled TV spot for Bumblebee for you to watch today that features the song “Oh Yeah,” by the 80s techno duo Yello. Most people recognize the song from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and the lyrics, “Bount Bount… Chickachicka!" Anyway, it really drives the 80s vibe of the film home.
I also included a new clip from the film that features the Decepticon’s Shatter (Angela Bassett) and Dropkick (Justin Theroux) on the hunt for Bumblebee and enlists John Cena and the military to help in their efforts. They accomplish this by pretending to be peacekeepers.
You’ll also find a new featurette that puts the focus on the triple changers robots.
The more I see from this film, the more excited I get. Don’t forget! There are early screenings taking place at theaters this Saturday!
Here’s the synopsis for the film:
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
Bumblebee opens December 21, 2018.
